My Birthday!!

I woke up to find my apartment had been decorated by my roommate Amber, and smack dab in the middle was a card. How thoughtful she was. That action she did made my day a whole lot better. I loved it. I know it must of taken her hours. So thank you Amber. I then got driven off by my sisters to get breakfast to Kneaders. They have the most delicious french toast. If you've never been there I highly suggest you go there, and very soon. You will love it. I then went home and opened a present from my family... a laptop. Just what I needed since my old one crashed long ago. Then we went and saw the movie UP. I loved it. I thought it was going to be very funny, but it was more touching then funny. Which is what I love. Then we went to PF Changs, yum. I was so lucky to have a day to celebrate my life. :). I then ate ice cream and played games with my family. Aren't I so lucky to have a family who loves me? I know I am. I also got to see my best friend that night, she had just got home from Hawaii and brought me a present. Which was a bag (a very cute one) with a towel, flip flops, Hawaiian treat, and a shell necklace. So fun!! I also celebrated my birthday earlier this week by getting to go to Lagoon. it was a little overcast but so fun. What a perfect day to go to lagoon. Its not too cold or too hot. Just right. I went on pretty much every big ride there. I know shocker. I get a bit nervous, but this time I decided to buck up and told myself a lot of people go on these rides and most of them...they are alive. And wa la I went on every ride. :) What a great way to celebrate my birthday. Thanks for all the Birthday wishes.

Lake Powell

I had another great opportunity to go to Lake Powell, thanks to my sister and her husband. We got to go on boat rides, a hike and do graffiti on shirts. How fun is that? I am so lucky! Well on the way back from our hike, I believe the Housboat was 2 hour ride home. Well 20 min. into the ride the boat....stopped. This was not good! We tried to call over the radio and no one responded. By our faith in our prayers the boat started that we drove to the closest marina. Where all the girls on the ride got to go in the rescue boat and my dad and Kris had to drive the boat back to the dock and take it to the closest repair place. I think the Bairds have a curse on the Rosander boat. This is the second time this has happened while we were on the boat. My sister surprised us that night with shirts and markers to decorate shirts with. I had so much fun sitting there drawing on my shirt and talking with my sisters. What good memories I have. On our drive home we stopped at a McDonalds where an old man called me by my name. Not going to lie I was a bit scared. This man knew my name, I didn't know how. And then he reminded me it was on the back of my shirt. I think he saw that I was a little creeped out he knew my name. Can you blame me? And then he complemented my shirt. I was just glad to get away from the man. He was a little bit strange. On this trip I had started the book My Sisters Keeper, What a good book. I finished it on my way home, of course I was bailing like a little girl whos feelings had just been hurt.

Taylor Swift Concert

On May 26th I got to go to the Taylor Swift Concert. I was so excited. That day I got to spend the day in Salt Lake with my mother, sisters (Cydne & Lindsay) and Lindsay's children. We went to Cafe Rio and went plant shopping. Later Whitney & Kirsten met us up at the Energy Solutions Arena and we headed inside to see Taylor Swift. We walked in and you saw all different ages all excited to see Taylor Swift. We got to our seats not the best seats. But its Taylor Swift you just don't care as long as you are there watching her. The concert started with the group Gloriana. I had already heard of them and I was really excited to see if they could sing or not. Kellie Pickler was not able to perform. I have no idea why. But I was excited for Taylor Swift to come on. She rocked that stage. She was amazing. I had so much fun just watching her. I am so lucky that I got to go see Taylor Swift in concert.

Mothers Day!

Mother I would just like to start off. I love you so much! You have inspired me every day to be a better person. And always a great example to me. Thank you.

Mother's day was the last time my sister will call home from her Mission. She returns this Friday where we all can't wait.

Also I had the most DELICIOUS dinner ever! My sister and her husband had dinner at their house. Luckily I was invited. They had chicken and hamburgers off the grill (my favorite). What a delicious day. I love to spend time with my family. And just going out on their deck and hang out with my little sister and then my sisters kids was so fun. I love those kids.

My sisters that are married are amazing mothers. Their kids are well behaved and are full of love. They are not like the kids in sacrament that are in the gym crying and screaming and you can hear them running around back there. They are all very obedient, and smart. I laugh when my older Nephew McKay can tell me about the girls who love him, or Abby who tells me she got a kiss on the forehead. When ever I enter the room whether I am on time or not those kids fill me up with so much love. They all want to give you a hug. They tell you they love you. How lucky am I? I feel like such a movie star when they are around me. They are all my best friends. I could never choose a favorite out of them. They all are amazing and I love them all. My sisters have done very well on raising their children, what good mothers they are.

New Job

I got a new job! I no longer work at partyland, where its the kid fun store. I work at an office, where my brother is my boss. I work with computers. I love working there. Time goes by really fast when I am working there, which for me is great. The company is Griffin Hill. My dad is the head boss. Kind of scary when your bosses are all in the family. I love them and glad that I have this opportunity to work with them all. I think I am so lucky to get this chance. Whoot!

I hope you like my symbol (it is a witch). I got to go see Wicked last night. I am so lucky. I've seen Wicked before but I was so excited to go see it again. I love it. I wish my whole family could of gone but we did get most of them. We got; Whitney, Mom, Lindsay, Kris, Sierra and Cameron. Whitney and I have seen it before, but seeing their reactions to all of it was the best. I sat next to my mother who just had her smile on the whole time. It was like a little kid walking into a candy store and seeing the candy everywhere. We had really good seats, 3rd row and center. I could see their faces perfectly. I loved the cast. Can't wait to see it again!!

Ward Closing Social!

Spring is coming, the grass is green, leaves are on the trees which only means really one thing.....School is done. Which means in a BYU ward. Got to have a closing social with the bbq and some activities going on. Well I had a blast. I got to play some catch with Rebecca, Valerie, Amber, Quinn and Jonathan. AMAZING! I love baseball/softball. Then we played some land chicken fight, guess who won? That's right me and my partner Amber. We wasted them all. Yay us. I love my ward. I am sad to see them go, but excited to meet the new people. So many more exciting things are on their way. I am glad I will be staying for the summer.

So much to say...

I would be better at blogging and telling you all my excitements but my computer crashed. So I only use the computer when I am at my parents house. So lets see where I should start....

Stake Activity(ies)

Our Stake really did have a Stake day. It started at 10 with Ultimate Frisbee then 5 Ice Skating 8 Dance Party. Well I was set on not going Ice Skating. I hate it, my roommate Rebecca had talked me into it. I actually had fun although most of the time I was skating by myself..guessing i was too cool for them or too slow. Ü. But I am a kind of person that I am fine if I am by myself. I love thinking and when people aren't with me I can think. I only had one major fall on the ice that my roommate Amber had caught on camera. We really stayed the whole 3 hours...don't ask me why. I think it's probably because they all (my roommates) have crushes on someone there. Where me, I don't. Ha ha. Well we went to the dance! Great times. I love dancing. Like to get my freak on ;). I got to meet a lot of new people and get to know more about those I didn't really know. I love my ward and am so glad I've made the decision to stay in the ward for the summer.

Cameron's Birthday

Cameron's Birthday falls on the day of St. Patricks day, with that being said St. Patricks is big in my family. The past years we always have green food. In elementary it was Green hot/white cereal and bread. Lately its just been green rolls, and then dessert no doubt its all about brownies and Mint Ice Cream. Delicious. Well that night I got to celebrate with my family. We had so much fun playing Ticket to Ride (Cameron loves playing games). I had so much fun just being there and celebrating with him. He is such a good guy. I love him and so proud of what he has become.

HOLI: Festival of colors; to celebrate signs of Spring.

This is the most fun thing in Utah. I went last year and had so much fun. That I was so excited to be able to attend this year. Valerie and I went by ourselves and actually met up with some friends. Getting to throw colorful flour on each other is the best part. And just to see their culture is amazing to me. Going to this event made us miss a Ward Date. Which the girls kissed cards and the guys (in the ward) picked the lips of their dates. Ha. Not going to lie I'm glad I didn't go. I had fun going, getting colorful coming home and taking a shower and putting on comfy clothes and just relax.

FHE Movie

In my ward (I know a lot of stuff about my ward :)) our FHE families had to make a video and one Monday we were going to watch them all. Our movie is all so good I recommend you check it out. Its on youtube, under POP! Goes my heart byu version. It will be there and its hilarious. You will get a great laugh out of it. Or if you have Facebook you can actually check it out there. Well our group won BEST MOVIE! Whoot. Yay. Thanks to all the boys who worked on it though. If it weren't for them we'd probably get worst movie. ha. Really check it out for some great laughs.

Mother's Birthday

March 31st was my mother's birthday. We had a blast of fun. We went to Salt Lake and met up with Lindsay and her children and shopped. I am not a really big fan of shopping hate it with a passion but I've realized if I don't complain and just deal with it I have a better time. I did get cute shoes. After our shopping we went to Cheesecake Factory. YUMMY! Love that place. And ever since I've been craving Cheesecake. :). Thanks Mother for being such an amazing person. I love you so much and think you are the best.

April Fools

My day was more then half way through, didn't have a joke yet. I was feeling proud. Having a mother who loves to do pranks you never know if you are safe. Well the whole day I kind of avoided talking to her. She can get you pretty good. Living away from home I thought was automatic safety. Well I believe it was 7 pm and I got a call from her. I answered. She started telling me lies about my missionary's parents calling and informing her that he was home based on injuries. I was didn't know how to take it, I was surprised seeing he'd sent me an email just a few days before. Then it hit me, April fools day. I was not happy. She then started on another lie about Australia. Thinking it was all true I was working with her on it. I was excited to ask for a week off of work to babysit for my sister and her husband. Then she went on how they were only going to take my sister Cydne. I thought that was so unfair. Well then she couldn't help but laugh. My mother always gets us on April Fools day. No doubt she always has something planned.

McKenzie's Birthday

April 2nd was my sister McKenzie's Birthday. We celebrated by going to McKay's guitar concert. Just telling you all McKay is good at that Guitar. All the girls will be in love with him. ;). Then got Costco pizza and watch Persuasion. I had so much fun celebrating my sisters birthday. She is such a good example to me in so many ways. I am such a lucky sister to have so many older sister to look up to. I love you McKenzie!

General Conference

I love General Conference. I love getting things from our Prophet and his Apostles. I was definitely inspired when I didn't fall asleep. I am very excited for General Conference to come again in 6 months, so I can learn more.

Ice Cream Party

Today I got to play with my niece Josie and my nephew Kimball. We went outside and they had fun on their bikes. Kimball's bike actually had room for me so I joined him. We had great fun going around my dad and mom's neighborhood. After we had an Ice Cream party. They are so cute. Kimball just loves the fact he is eating ice cream so he smiles at every bite he has. He was still eating when Josie and I finished that he decided to throw some off his spoon at Josie. This caused Josie to cry and Kimball to smile real big. They are so funny. I love those kids.

Babysitting + Bang + Running & Screaming = A very eventful night!

What an eventful night Saturday 14th was. I went to Salt Lake with Whitney to go babysit for my sister Lindsay. We had so much fun. Molly is one silly goose. We were there till about 9. Then headed for home. I got home and chilled with my roommate waiting for another to get home from her date. Well I just had a fun night with my roommates and Thang. We watched Bring it On All or Nothing. Well my roommates all went to bed but Rebecca. So me and her stayed up for awhile and talked. Thats when the night got interesting. We heard the BANG!! My roommate knowing what a gun sounds like freaked out and said thats a gun. We freaked out running around the apartment. We looked out the window saw a man running..not a good thing. Then see a car outside and a girl getting out which looked like a man walking towards our apartment. We flipped screaming. It was hard to get to bed. But we got there and all through Sunday we were waiting to find a dead body, no joke. We are still in the process. :)
