"Mother Knows Best"

I am sure you've all watched the movie 'Tangled', and know that song the evil lady sings "Mother Knows Best". Its kind of weird the bad lady sings it. But it has truth. My mother has always known best.
"Katheryn, you'll need to wear your coat, if you don't you'll get a cold."
I remember the times when I didn't listen to my mother and I would get a cold for not wearing my coat.
Well my mother is here for only a few more days, for a medical reason. Its been fun having her here. We've done things that my mother loves.
SHOPPING! Oh boy, I hate shopping. It is something my mom loves. She likes to go down every aisle and touch it all. The candy, the food and all the storage supplies.
Yesterday as I was with a few family members and my mom, I was complaining about my contacts and that I might be wearing my glasses to church. My mom just had to reply with, "Katheryn do your hair cute, wear it down." I've been wearing my hair up since my parents left 95 % of the time. I did dye it while they have been in Japan. Thinking this would help me want to do my hair. But it is part of the reason I wear it up. If you look at it down you see all the mishaps of not getting my dye everywhere. So if I wear my hear down I do something with my hair, for instance a headband.
I just think its so funny, my mom only here for a short time and she is already has knowledge of my lack of hair styling. I think I need someone to teach me how to do fun things with my hair. Maybe I'd do it more.

Birthday/Niece

This past week has been exciting! When I refer to this past week I mean like starting last week.
Micah and I had the opportunity to kind of watch over his sisters. Which included in attending a fair with them and his older sister and family. There were rides and food and entertainment. Fun, fun, fun! I went on this ride with his sisters where it spins you like crazy. I believe it's called "Starship" I couldn't stop laughing in the ride.

The next day it was write write write our talks for Sunday. Yes we were given the assignments 3 weeks before and yes we still procrastinated. Paul and Terie took us out to eat that night to thank us for watching their kids... they were not hard at all. We have fun hanging out with Micah's family. They are always having fun. They are my "So You Think You Can Dance" friends.

The next day was the talks. Micah and I SOOOO nervous. I was more nervous giving an adult talk to a bunch of people OLDER than me. I survived. I think it went well. Everyone laughed when I wanted them to.

JUNE 13 is my BIRTHDAY! So I celebrated, starting with sleeping in and a long shower. Micah took me out to lunch at Taco Bell, YUM! Cheap lunch, and the most delicious! Micah decorated the BEST DELICIOUS LOOKING CAKE EVER! Than we went to color me Mine! We had so much fun. It was Micah's first time going and totally enjoyed himself. After we went to my brother and sister-in-laws to have a party all about mauh! THANK YOU ALL FOR THE PRESENTS!

Life!

Life is great.
We bought a fish.
We named it Pascal like the chameleon from tangled.
He changes colors.
I have a picture.
I am just too lazy to attach pictures.
We finally bombed our apartment so we can be free of spiders.
I hate spiders and I've seen so many.
I've started scrapbooking...
I love summer!
