Twilight*

On Thursday night Valerie, Kirsten and I stood in line around 7ish to see Twilight. A movie based off of one of one of the best book series. We were 2nd in line. Yay. The lady next to us brought a 'Fork' journal to have our line sign it. We waited about 3 hours outside to get inside. Then waited 2 hours inside waiting for our movie to start. Around 9:30ish Lindsay, Whitney and Ashley came. They got to meet our new friends and we got to talk and then go inside. We went to the new theater, which I thought it was very nice. Well the movie was AMAZING! I loved it. I would love to go see it again, and can't wait to see it again. I think I will wait till the lines die down first.

Baw Chika Wa Wa!

Saturday night my roomates Amber, Ally and I had some fun. We started out by going to a surprise birthday party. I didn't even know the girl but I tagged along. I got to meet a few new people and just being involved was great fun.

After, we played the game of Phase 10. I have grown up with this game. I love it. This game can last forever! At the end I, Katheryn Elizabeth Baird won! Yay!! I was ahead the whole time. Poor Amber kept getting stuck on the same Phase.

When we finished the game we decided to pull a few pranks on Valerie. The first one, was that she was asked to sing a solo at church tomorrow. We texted that to her and she was in a panic. Then we hid in the room, waiting for her arrival to scare her. I hid behind my hamper, Ally hid behind the door, and Amber hid in my bed. We hid for 30 minutes becore Valerie showed up. She came in, and once she came in Ally started to laugh which made Amber laugh. Amber then told her I went to one of our Neighbor's house to get Valerie's solo piece. She really was about to cry when she heard this. Which then made them say there was no solo for her. I then texted her to check the closet. I was finally spotted. My body was killing with the position I was in.

Smith's! Oh Smiths! We went to smiths so Amber and Ally could get some food supplies for their dinner the next day. And I got to ride in the cart. I had people looking at me weird. I would just say hello. Some guy started flirting with me. After we watched the movie "Dang Yankees". Note to self, if I want a guy to notice me, go to a store and be in the cart. :) I love my roommates! We always have a blast!

Babysitting!

On Thursday night I babysat my sister McKenzies kids. I love babysitting these 4 kids they are all so cute in different ways. Never gets dull when I am babysitting. Well I get there and first kimball wakes up and makes himself bread with butter on it. Ya, caught that one when I walked out of the bedroom where Abby and Josie were. Oh this kid loves butter. There is a phone call, McKay answers doesn't know what to do and hands it off to me. It turned out to be one of Abby's friends mothers. Great me dealing with a woman with kids, don't know her or anything. They asked if Abby wanted to go play over at their house or have the friend come down. I had to put her on hold to call my sister if it was okay. Turns out that my sister's phone was in the room I was in. So I asked Abby, and asked her where she would like to go. Although I wanted her to go over to the friends house so that I didn't have to watch a child I didn't know. Turned out McKay had called his friends, they were over at the house in a flash. I was a little suprised to see 3 kids on the front porch. Turned out Josie and Kimball were my buddies. They are so funny. Kimball had McKay's guitar chair that rolls, and Josie had the seat that rolls, and their races began. Josie was loving the fact she was winning every time. Kimball before every race would blow me a kiss. He loves blowing kisses..when he likes you. We had great fun.View this montage created at One True Media

Tickets and now a MIA License

A few weeks ago I filled you in that I got a parking ticket. To be honest I don't understand how i got a parking ticket for one time I parked there and the same cars that are always parked there don't get one...interesting. Well I didn't pay my ticket in the 5 days, I ended up paying a 60 dollar ticket which pretty much robbed me of my money. I was really upset and that same day I found out my License went missing. I was very upset. I didn't get the chance to Vote because my license was MIA. My dad was a little upset for not being responsible and not getting to vote. I was sad not being able to vote, my first time to vote and i couldn't. Sad day. I looked every where for my license; car, room, garbage(that was disgusting) purse, pockets, ect. I just was not happy at all with what happened. Guess what I get to spend my money on this week? ..Thats right a license. Well I am glad I can learn from this experience....don't park anywhere, park where you know those crazy Ghetto searchers are. Oh and put your license back to where it belongs every time after you use it. I know once I get a new license and spend the money to get one that i will find my license. I keep hoping I will find it before I go get a new one.

Fun Times

On Fast Sunday my family all went to my parents house, along with Sierra's (sister-in-law) awesome mother Tanya and her sister and her family. We all had a blast of fun. My family is such a cool family. My niece Molly makes this really funny face and so Whit and I decided to get a picture of us doing it. We thought we were awesome. The rest of the Sunday my siblings and the ones married husbands and I all sat around the table talking. I love when we can all just talk. McKenzie and Craig told us all about their Halloween in California. Sharing funny stories is always a fun thing of mine that our family does. I love my family and I am such a lucky one to have a family like the Bairds.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

My roommates and I all decided to go to a later showing of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I had already seen it with Micah, but I was excited to see it again. One of my favorites. I loved the books I read them all, these are my favorite book series. I love the love between the 4 friends. I always end up crying because Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is always a touchy story. The one thing that made me mad was the fact they put book 2,3 and 4 in this 2nd movie. They followed the story okay. I wish it was more out there but i understand that would be a very long movie with 3 books all in one movie. Well all in all i loved the movie. Every time i see the movies i want to read the books again. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is such a great story of life and love.

Having One of Those Days..

I woke up late, never a good start. I then hurried to get into my costume and out the door. Guess what I found awaiting me on my car? First i was glad to see that no tow trucks got it, but the parking people found Ghetto. I had a parking ticket for 30 dollars. I was already runnig late and now I was just upset with the law, as I hit every red light to work. And since its Halloween Partyland is swarmed with crazy people which make me crazy. They are all demanding to their needs they don't care about the others around them or if they are being a crabby pants kind of a person. The hours went so slow but it was non stop busy. What a morning I had but what a rememorable morning it was. I am so glad to know that the days will get better. I know there are bad days but there are also the best days in my life. Those are the days I am looking forward to.

Prison Tour...

I took a Prison Tour today and this experience has opened my eyes to how lucky I am. We got to see inmates and I am so glad of the choices I have made in my life. When you first get in there they make you give everything up for 2 hours. No phone, no ipod, no money not even a license. They make you turn in your license take your keys and give you a visitor pass so they can keep track of you. Then they lecture you on what to do and not what to do. Millions of things were going through my head freaking out. Although I know I will obey everything they said you still get scared by swat teams with dogs...trust me. They took us to this place where they keep all the sex offenders, they only earn .40 cents a day, for this money they save it up for; education, tv, radio, chips, soda, ect. Then they took us to this room and showed us posters of all the gang members they have there and the bad things about gangs. These boys will take a toothbrush and a razor and put them together to create a tattoo tool or slash others that they can not stand. In this area they told us they have 3 generations all in Prison. Just cause they were all in the same gang. Then they took us to the work shop where they make license plates. Didn't know that License Plates were made in Prisons, along with signs for the state. They took us to another area where there were lots of cells and lots of people in them. One of the guys that took us on the tour told us that the boys act rude because they just don't know how to act. One of the Prisoners yelled "warning, don't feed the inmates" Which made every one laugh. Then some of the Prisoners start singing. They told us that is because they have nothing to do with being locked up for 23 hours. When we finished our tour we turned in our visitor pass for our license and then headed out. I thought it was so funny when they check you out at the gate. We had to show our license to them then they searched the car to make sure no prisoners were going home with us. I am so greatful for my family and there great choices.
