Memories?

Yesterday after my Stake Adult Conference I couldn't find anyone to do stuff with. They were all avoiding my texts so I knew I was going to be on my own once again. I put in my season one Gilmore girls and decided to go through a box that had my name on it in my closet. (my mom stores a lot in my closet) As I was going through finding pictures I had completely forgotten about things I did when I was young, my night was well spent. I laughed a lot and found out I really love my sister. Every story I wrote she was always the main character. Here are some I decided to share with you. I couldn't share all or scan them all in because this was already a long project. I will tell you, I found a program of a talent show I had participated in. All my piano recitals programs. I was student of the week more than once in my elementary career and even in middle school. All the letters that were written my my school friends was that I was bashful, quiet, and friendly. I was very quiet, when I was late to class it would take me hours to go inside I would be the one crying outside. I didn't want to get in trouble or be noticed.

Girls camp. My dad was the in High Council and part of his calling was to be the Priesthood holder at Girls Camp. So lucky us! He got to join on Spa Day!

My Grandma Francom! She was a wonderful lady and passed away my senior year of High School.

Me holding my first Nephew! I was 10 and so excited to have him in addition to the family. He is my best buddy! And I love my mushroom hair. I also found I used McKay in all my stories along with Whitney.

Me with my favorite doll Allie! She went with me everywhere. I have her packed up so when I have kids I can share her with them. She went everywhere with me for a very long time.

2nd grade my princess day! On your bday you were a princess/prince for the day. I don't know when they celebrated mine due to my birthday being in June. But I was very excited to find this picture!


We celebrated Chinese New Year in my 1st grade class. Learned how to use chopsticks and we were told our names. and here is my name!

Valentines..

Since my post about how I am not a huge fan of Valentines Day, I believe someone has been trying to send me a message. I am still not a fan of Valentines Day but I am a fan of Love. I've had great opportunities: one was helping out at a special dinner for the widows in my stake. The week before this event would happen the paper to sign up was headed out. That was the same Sunday as a guy stood up to bear his testimony about how he loves to serve others and not himself, so when that paper came around I felt I should probably be better so I can tell people how wonderful I am. When the day actually came to the dinner I was hoping they would call and cancel it so I wouldn't have to go. Not a very good thought I know, I should love to go out and serve others. I was just in a bad mood waking up to a cold sore, they make me so angry. Just hoping I would get out of something. Well that phone call never came, so I got dressed up to go serve the ladies in my ward. I was not excited at first and especially when they all started to give the directions of how we serve, which made me even more nervous. The night went on and I had a bunch of wonderful old ladies in my home ward. They were all so friendly and showed me that Valentines isn't about the mushy stuff its about being with the ones you love. The weekend of Valentines I did get to celebrate with the ones I loved. Just by watching The Olympics, watching a movie, or getting a drink. My mom was so nice to give me a Valentine some awesome converse shoes I have wanted for awhile and a cute pink journal. My sister also gave us a cute valentine a CD full of love songs and a cute card for the family. Even if I am not a fan of the mushy stuff I am a fan of Love. I love my family and my friends!

Even if they are thousand miles away.....

That is right! My parents are going to be MISSION PRESIDENTS IN NAGOYA, JAPAN! Leave in July and I get to go visit for 2 months. We are all so excited for them to go and do something so amazing that not all can do! Good luck mom and dad. I love you and know you will be amazing!

One Day Only

So many of you know I like to use Picnik to edit my pictures. I love what I can do, I don't use the premium features because I don't want to pay a lot each month just to use them. I am fine using the free stuff. I Can still make the pictures look great, and I don't always get on Picnik to edit all the time. Well one day I was bored so I decided to get on Picnik and see if I could do some cool editing. I did, Picnik was doing a special. Everything was free for 24 hours. I was excited and got straight to work. I know that sounds weird but I really do editing photos. And I know I am not the best at it. I don't really have an eye for a lot, and you are all probably sick of me talking about it. Well I got to use some cool effects. I will post the pictures I did that night. Not all were used with premium features. I just like my cool photos and like to share them with others, please don't judge on some of my pictures..ha ha. (especially McKenzie and Lindsay on the Valentine ones) :)

Katheryn

On facebook a bunch of people are finding out what their first name means on Urban Dictionary. Since they all have normal spelling names so they have more then one definition. My name being Katheryn spelled so unique. I only have one definition. which is;

1. A girl that wants to be a hippy and is quite attractive
That girl Katheryn girl was rocking some mad hippie glasses today, and did you see that headband?

You should look up yours and share them. I would love to hear what they are. They are fun to share and some are really funny.

'Tis the month of love. How do I feel about this? Not a huge fan. Its not that I don't have a boyfriend. I've had boyfriends over this month before. I just think its a weird holiday to celebrate. Although I loved it when I was a child. Where the door bell would ring and you would run to find a Valentine awaiting you on your door step, I even remember when Whitney and I got tutus one year. Once you get older its just an over rated holiday. Yay I get presents and I get to give them also but its just a little much. Maybe I get sick of the idea people going full out or getting married on the day of love. Not a huge fan. Sorry if you are. Don't be mad at me. That's just my thought. But for me Valentines is an over rated month. Maybe that will all change when I get married I don't know. But for now that is just my thought on Valentines. :)
