Another Concert!
I am so lucky, I got to attend another concert. I went and saw Miley Cyrus last night, along with Metro Station. Earlier this year I got to go to Taylor Swift, and Wicked. And going to Thriller next week. What an awesome year it has been. My friend Val and I bought our tickets in June and have been waiting forever to go to this concert. Well it was amazing. I love her. She had the flu and would have to take a few breaks, but being sick she was amazing. Metro station was good too. I find once you go to a concert you find more appreciation for those singers. Here are some awesome photos I took at the concert. You don't need to look at all my good photo shots, just the last one. It was the coolest effect ever!

Cleaning My Room. Check
I think the title says its all. From when I moved out and back into my room I got to share a room with my beautiful sister, that is until she got the basement fixed up so she could just live there. The room started out as a disaster. I was living out of baskets and didn't know where anything was. That went into everything just one the floor all crazy like. The mess was bugging me along with my family. I wasn't embarrassed just to open my door for others to look in. Today I just had enough of the mess and cleaned. A very long process, I started with my bathroom(its connected to my room) I not only cleaned it...I deep cleaned it. I got all the sick hair out of the drains (that is another story), got rid of old stuff, and then headed to my little hallway then my room. Took me about 4 hours. But that includes my breaks and me just sitting around for 30 min on facebook. :) ha ha. I am just so happy I finished cleaning my room. I took pictures of my clean room. I was that excited, so here they are. Now you can see my cute room. I think it is a totally me room :) This is my cute counter. all clean. :) whoot
This is where the toilet lives, it has its own little room. Its very nice. And don't you just love that picture? Got it from Sam Whitney one year for Christmas. He told me it reminded him of me. My personality... I don't know if I see it.
My shower and bathtub. They took the longest. But I am so glad I got them functioning right for tomorrow when I use them. :)
My cute little hallway. This picture is so sweet. I got it from Micah Wiederhold, he brought it back from Hawaii. Aren't I a lucky gal?
Oh yes, that little pink thing on the left bottom corner you see, that is a barbie house. I think my nieces will be so happy I cleaned my room. Now they can play with their barbies again. but that is my sweet little reading corner you see. with my pictures.
Okay. I am so proud of this part. My mom loves when beds are made a certain way. And when she saw my bed after I cleaned today, she told me I made it like she would. That made me so happy. But I think this is a cool part about my room. I love my bed set and my nightstand set up. Isn't my room just awesome?
Note to readers: I am not showing you these pictures to show how spoiled I am to have an amazing room or that I am amazing and stuff. I am just so happy to share with you the goal that I've been wanting to finish since I moved home in May. :)

Callings...
You are probably grammar checking me, and saying "Katheryn it should be calling, calling is one, callings is more than one." well that is right, I've got 3 callings got them all in one weeks worth. The first week back in the PV 7th ward, I get called the next Wednesday and right there on the spot I got 2 callings. One being a Ward Chorister and the other being Enrichment Committee. Not thinking these callings would take up a lot of time. I was actually thinking they will be easy, well besides having to get up in front of the whole congregation and have them follow me. Today I got a call from the ward choir director asking me if I will be his assistant.
Today was my first day to lead as well as the organist(of course playing the organ). I lost my eye sight a few times and couldn't see the page, notes or people. I thought tears were going to stream out my eyes because they hurt so bad. I now know that I need to get new contacts before next time I lead. ha ha. It wasn't easy to lead a group. Scary to see 9,999 faces staring at you, all giving you the look of.."you going to get us through this girl I don't know with the ketchup stain on your skirt?!"
Well I have learned today my Sundays probably won't be as free as they use to be. My last calling was newsletter and I did that on my own time and by myself. Never had meetings just asked questions to the right people. Now I have meetings with the 2 communities I serve with and have the joy of joining the choir. Which I am actually excited about. I love singing. I've been singing my whole life. Started when I was in a singing group called sugar n' spice, also I had a little boom box I would always carry around with me. My family knew exactly where I was when they could hear me singing to the music playing. And I've been in choirs in school and I might say my teachers thought I had a great alto voice. Although I think sometimes...i am not very good. ha ha :)
Well there is my updates on all the 3 callings I have. Lets hope I can do this, and lead better next time its my turn to lead. I am a bit nervous. Didn't do to well today but I know I will do better. And I can't wait to prove myself that I can. Especially to have the Lord on my side who wants me to be perfect and inspired the leaders to give me these callings. How exciting to know the Savior has confidence in me."Perfect practice makes perfect."-Scott Baird

And pedicure's for me are the best. I love when someone makes my toes look good. Well we all should know that I love zebra print. So i got zebra toes. I love them. I recommend if you want to get your nails done you should go to Spicy Nails its right next to Days Market. The ladies are hilarious, and are so fun to talk to.

Pictures!
Some pictures of what I've done this summer. There are a lot. And out of order. Some are recent some I just wanted to share with your viewing. Enjoy!
Sometimes our ward get a train together and give back rubs..best Sunday ever! Love it!!
My friend Thang (the only boy in the picture) took this picture for my birthday. I think this shows all of our personalities so well.
My ward in the summer went to Manti. I took this picture and I was so proud with the outcome.
This is the Manti Temple car groupie. We had such a fun ride there and on the way back. You might of read that post.
A little lake powell this summer. How awesome is that? We love lake powell. Thank you Lindsay & Kris.
Cydne came home from her mission. And is now engaged due to be married on Sept 11. A week from tomorrow. You can only imagine our household is a little bit crazy.
This picture is from today. I got to babysit Kimball. And boy did we have fun. We took some pictures, played with cars, practiced his music, got locked out of the house and had a fun piggyback ride/tickling/trying to tackle me. Love him. In this picture we are suppose to be making a silly face. ha ha. Kimball just looks cute, I succeeded it. ha ha
This one was a little bit better. He is such a sweetheart. I love him. What would I do without my little guy?
I took this picture when I waited in the car for my mother for an hour. No joke. I thought it was really cool with the reflection. I thought it turned out very well.
These are some cool M&Ms my sister got from my sister for mothers day. She had me take the picture so she could remember them. They were too tempting to just leave there.
This is Thang. Thang...there are no words to descibe Thang. He took this picture because like i said who doesn't love me and want a picture with me. :) ha ha. He is a great kid. I love chillin with him.
