I don't know about you, but every October first Saturday and Sunday it is time to grab your pillow, blanket, pen and pad of paper, for it is General Conference time. I love being a part of the Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ. I have so many great opportunities and one of them is listening to the Prophets voice and the apostles.
Well I will share some pieces from my favorite talks, just a line or two. Okay, I know you all enjoyed to. So share some of your favorites with me. I would love it if you did.
I loved Saturday Morning Session when President Thomas S. Monson last words were "Miracles Can Happen." I defiantly believe that and it really just stood out to me. I also enjoyed Sister Matsumori said that we should have quiet time each day to listen to that still small voice. I loved Elder Bednars talk when he talked about being more diligent and concern at home and then talked about Baring our testimony and living it. I am really bad at getting up on fast Sunday to bare my testimony. I know this all the sudden won't change but I plan to share it with people. Something I can work on, I know I have a great testimony I just need to share it more. So that really stuck out to me. I loved what President Uctdorf said "What we think determines who we are and who we'll become." How powerful is that? Loved what Elder Oaks said "Real love is not letting the person you love do stupid things." I know this is a common saying I've heard it here and there. But coming from Elder Oaks it just means so much more. I loved when President Thomas S. Monson talked about service and started out with the question, "What did you do nice for someone today?" Also Elder Holland, wow, That was some talk he gave. He showed his love for the book of Mormon. What an awesome talk.
I would also love to share what the girls did during Priesthood Session. We were so lucky to go bowling. Not all of us could go, but my mother, Cydne, Sierra, Whitney and I went bowling. Although Whit and I are not amazing bowlers the other 3 were amazing. I did one good play, it was the 10th play and if you get a strike you get to go again. Well I got 2 strikes on that one. I was so happy with myself. That is all that really happened with my greatness. On our way home, my mother being my mother, she was honking the horn at all the BYU students walking home and rolling down the window whistling. Well they didn't see my mother...they saw me. This embarrassed me a lot and my mom was laughing. Made me laugh, she is a funny character. What a great conference I had.

I love Conference too!!! It's so uplifting and inspiring and just awesome! I agree with you about Elder Holland's talk... it was powerful! I'll have to look through my notes and find some good quotes to share! It's sure different watching it with a little baby crawling around! ;)
Thanks for sharing what you liked! You can work on sharing your testimony however you feel like you should, but I think you are a great example and you do a great job sharing your testimony right here! :)
