Primary Chase

This last Saturday Micah received a text asking if we could substitute the 5-6 year old class.
I've always thought it would be so fun to teach Primary. I love kids and what fun would it be to attend Primary and teach a lesson to sweet kids. Right?
Micah and I prepared for a fun 5 year old class. Got all the coloring stuff and since the time of the call we could not get treats (which I think would of helped the class).
So we go to Sacrament feeling pretty good about ourselves.
We go to Primary and apparently we were early, you could tell we were first timers. They showed us to our row and the kids came in slowly. Cute little boys sat on our row and we were so happy.
Primary was about to start when the 2 trouble makers make it to our row. One yelling, "I don't like new teachers, I don't like NEW TEACHERS." She then ran to her mom (I think). One sat down to me and loved to tell me everything about her. Later, in the same hour the girl came back to the row ready to give me a hard time for the rest of the hour and the next. She ran around the primary acting so crazy. Then she yells, "I need to go to the bathroom." So I followed her out, it looked like she wasn't planning on it but knew she had to because I was following her. While in the bathroom she was not going to wash her hands, to me that is NASTY. So some how I talked her into it, and there she was playing in the soap and water regretting my wants on her washing her hands. (But glad she did) I gave her several warnings nothing really worked. She then replies, "I need to wash my hands really good because I have been picking my nose." Well then glad she washed her hands even more. I tried to race her back to the primary class....that didn't work she just said, "I hate when people do that, they just make up silly games to try to get kids where they want them." ..... (my response to her)
We finally made it back into the Primary class and boy was it rough as she continued to run around the Primary room.
We then went to the classroom, these two girls were crazy. But I think we handled the situation great. We tried to get them involved and I think they enjoyed it. The other kids were so great and I appreciate their cuteness...because after dealing with those two kids I didn't want kids, but then I look at the other 4 they were great, and I think my kid could be that great. (in the future)
Hope you had a great laugh from our experience. :)

SHOUT OUT! To my Hubby!

MICAH LEROY WIEDERHOLD TURNED 23!!!!!

We had a fun time celebrating Micah's Birthday. It was on Memorial day and so he spent some of it with my extended family and enjoyed himself. They did sing happy birthday to him. We started off celebrating by going to a pet store. If you know Micah he LOVES pets.
All I did to this cat was point at it, and this is
what it did back. I was dying of laughter.
We fell in love with this cute puppy
We had time to relax then went out to dinner with Micah's family to Texas Roadhouse, Micah's favorite place then a concert at the Scera outside theater, watched our group of the Sing off; Delilah, Vocal Point & Pentatonic's. We enjoyed it and the company. We love spending time with the Wiederhold's.

10 Days of Japan-Day 4

DAY 4- POTTERY & SUSHI ROLL

We started our day off by going to a district meeting. Where we got to participate. It was a cool experience, after that we went to go get some curry with the missionaries.

Then it was Pottery.
I love Pottery I did it last time I went to Japan with my sisters and Ryoko.
We were lucky to have Ryoko and her mother Megumi join us. And we all loved it.
Some (aka Micah) had a hard time with it at the beginning...

And after all of this fun we did some shopping and SUSHI ROLL...

It was fun to be with Ryoko and Megumi for the day. They are such amazing people. We love them.
And of course it was wonderful to be with my mom and dad.

10 Days of Japan-Day 3

Day 3-SHOPPING AND MORE
In the morning time when we were waiting for the stores to open. I took Micah, Paul and Terie to the pond and the LDS Church by my parents house. Where we spent a lot of time on previous trips.
We started off with more of the shopping malls the first day we were there.
Which we thought would be most of our shopping, or maybe that's what I thought. And boy was I wrong.
We also tried this delicious pancake place. Now when I say pancake you probably think of normal pancakes. But this is not the case. It had like vegetables and an egg and you could choose if you wanted bacon or cheese on it. The coolest part of it all was... we got to cook it.
Japan is known for there fun restaurants, well to me they are. ha ha.
By the pond

In front of the church

Micah thought the payphone in the church
was a funny
I went to ask my dad questions and Elder Barney took

After all our fun shopping and eating we were invited to a neighbors house to see their Boy Day set up.
To learn more about boy day click on this link.
It was fun to see traditional houses and their set up. It was amazing and they are so nice. She has always been so nice to my family and I.

10 Days of Japan-Day 1 & Day 2

Micah, his parents and I took a trip to Japan to visit my parents. And boy was it fun.
I have so much to blog on days that I figured I'd do it in day posts. I have tons of pictures.
Pictures that make me miss Japan (more).
Day 1-Traveling
We started our trip early May 1st at 6:30 in the morning. We had long flights but we survived.

DAY 2- ARRIVED IN JAPAN
Where my dad was at the airport to meet us.
No matter if I meet my parents at the airport or saying good-bye, there seems to always be tears.
Even from my dad, he is the one that started it this time. :)
I love my parents. And seeing them was wonderful. It was wonderful to drive down the streets I had come to love about 2 years ago. That's right my parents are about to hit their one year left mark.
My mother stayed at home because of all our luggage we brought, 8 suitcases & 6 carry ons.
We talked for hours. Even when my eyes were wanting to close.
Who wouldn't talk to their parents for hours when you first see them, and you don't see them all the time.
They told us stories of recent conversions. We made our plans. And went to bed.
I have to say I'm so proud of my parents!

Oh Micah

Micah is hilarious. He is always making me laugh. Today he was especially entertaining with only 3 hours of sleep. I have the best husband. I am so grateful. Here are some pictures. The one with the 3 was taken today. He had fun with his hair today. The one with the st patty look was taken yesterday. The one when he is a young boy I found in his scrapbook, thank you Terie!
