10 Days of Japan-Day 10

DAY 10-LEAVING JAPAN

Before we could leave for Japan we needed to finish getting candy. That was my goal. Japan has great candy I love it. So we went shopping and tried to beat Paul and Terie to all the candy because they got it all the time before. On our way home I knew what was coming. The good-byes to my parents. When I got inside and everyone was upstairs packing my mom and I were crying and hugging. I love my mom and dad and I couldn't be more proud of them for serving the Lord. But it is hard to say good-bye to your parents and knowing you won't see them for a long time. You just have phone calls and occasional skype calls. So skipping all the time my family and I cried. We missed our LA flight to SLC because we hit a thunder storm in Tokyo and waiting for our cargo to get on the plane. We left an hour late! So when we got in LA there was really no organization with anything. We waiting about 4 hours in LA to make the next flight. When we got to SLC, Paul had a flat tire so we waited more. I think we were all glad to be home and not on a plane.
I MISS MY PARENTS! I AM SO PROUD OF THEM AND PROUD TO BE THEIR DAUGHTER!
I got first place in tetris. I was so proud. :)

That awkward moment when you have to go to the
bathroom but the people to let you out to get to the
bathroom are asleep and you have to wait.
ONE DAY I'M GOING BACK TO JAPAN! :)

10 Days of Japan-Day 9

DAY 9- AQUARIUM

Morning time came and we (my mom, Terie, Paul, Sister Barney, Elder Barney, Micah & I) all loaded the car for our fun adventure to the Aquarium. I have been there before and knew how cool it was. They have a fun dolphin show and so many things to see. We walked in and we stayed at the Killer Whales forever. I told the group (most of them have never been there) that they would even love it more if they loved just walking in and seeing the killer Whales. We had such a fun time.

Then it was Cat's Cafe. Which in my opinion is delicious! It's like ice cream with bunch of fruit and other stuff in it.

After, we met our cute Ryoko's father. He was so very nice, I'm glad I got to meet him.

After we got to attend English class that the Elders teach. And I left early to have some girl time with my mom. Where we laughed a lot...
I love Japan. I love my Parents and I love the people in Japan.

10 Days of Japan-Day 8

DAY 8- MONKEY PARK & BUDDHIST TEMPLE

We left early for a long drive a little less than 4 hours to get to the Monkey Park. The Monkey park is really awesome in Japan. They all roam around you. Its not a zoo, the animals come to you and sometimes hiss at you. I've been there before and I was happy Micah and Paul really wanted to do it. It's so fun.

After we went to a Buddhist Temple, it was an interesting thing. We learned a little more facts and we went through darkness referred to "Hold on to the Iron Rod"
.....

This cat had a sign on his neck that says
"Do not disturb the sleeping cat"
Best ever!

DAY 7- TAKAYAMA

We took about a 2 hour drive to beautiful Takayama. It's more of an old Japanese area. It is so cool, and has the coolest shops. I went there last time I visited, and loved it just the same as before. We ate at delicious hamburger place called 'Center 4 Stage'. We also visited some members in the area and they gave us some ice cream. They are so cute, they recorded us eating it and posted it on facebook. How cute are they? I love the Japanese people and the culture.

We found a missionary that used to serve in my parents
mission in Takayama. She walked out of the store right when
we walked passed. :)
