March 27th = what a day!

What a day, started off with wonderful delicious breakfast with my family and grandparents. My grandparents decided to take my family (the ones living in Bon and Scotts house) to breakfast at IHOP. What happened on our ride home? We stopped at a red light and when it turned green the car in front was stuck. I don't know why the girl behind us decided to go forward. Due to us stopped and the car in front. My prediction is that she was probably texting didn't see we were stopped and just went forward, hitting us and right into the guys car. Where we had to pull to the side to see the damage. Valerie (my bestest friend) and her sister Olivia ( who is also my friend) were at my house waiting for me to get home to get to the color fest. They were so nice to come get me in the parking lot. Well the cars decided nothing was wrong and the girl who caused it was probably so grateful for my dad and the other gentleman to say its all good. I was still waiting for val and then it happened. My dads car wouldn't start. Oh No! Apparently the girl hit us hard enough to loosen the battery so the car wouldn't start. Luckily it was fixed. But at the time Valerie got to load my family into her car and take us all home. And then we started on our adventure.....

After that I came home and showered. No need to wear the color all day. I like being clean... After that I decided to ride my cute bike to Valerie's apartment. I coasted all the way there. I guess it was a downhill, especially when I can do that. On my way home it was NOT easy. Uphill it was a very tiny uphill but I did it all wrong. My legs were so grateful to be home and resting on the couch. What a good work out it was. I really did enjoy my time.
All I have to say is WHAT A DAY!

Katheryn

On facebook a bunch of people are finding out what their first name means on Urban Dictionary. Since they all have normal spelling names so they have more then one definition. My name being Katheryn spelled so unique. I only have one definition. which is;

1. A girl that wants to be a hippy and is quite attractive
That girl Katheryn girl was rocking some mad hippie glasses today, and did you see that headband?

My BFF

I have a wonderful bff, she sticks with me through the good and the bad. We've been friends since 4th grade, at first we were not sure about each other but in the end we knew our friendship would go somewhere amazing and it has and still is. I am so grateful for her. She gave me awesome presents for Christmas. A cute headband, a banana cheesecake from cheesecake factory along with a gift certificate to Cheesecake Factory.

Thank you Valerie, I love everything you gave me.. Now I have to come up with a good birthday present for you. Love you girlie!

DECEMBER!

It's December, which means...Christmas Time. There is finally snow on the ground to make us all feel like Christmas is about here. I am more in the Christmas spirit than I was when there was no snow on the ground.

I love Decembers time, the feeling of Christmas, and what a wonderful time to celebrate the birth of the Savior. I am excited for the Christmas season. I will miss my sister McKenzie and her family as they head off to Australia to go visit Craig's family. But I have a feeling I will still have a fun time here in Utah with the rest of my family. Enjoy the season and I can't wait to hear what you are all doing this December!!!!

My Friends Bday

November 20th was my friend Thang's birthday, we celebrated the Friday before. He had told my friend Valerie and I that he had never celebrated his birthday, so we took him bowling and went to sonic to get a treat. We had fun bowling, even if I am super bad at it. We haven't done anything for a while just the 3 of us, and bowling was great. I did get one spare but the others did way better than me. But we had so much fun. I am so grateful for my friends that just keep me going and I can have so much fun with them. Even if it is just watching tv, or playing a wii game or just talking. That is what a true friendship is, you have fun no matter what you are doing.

Twilight Saga: New Moon

I got to go see New Moon the day it was released, but I decided I was not going to go at the midnight showing but the noon showing. So much better. I was wide awake and could focus on everything. Midnight showings are a blast but you have to wait in line forever and then fight for a good seat. Our time was perfect people still in school and we didn't have to wait in line. We just walked in and picked a seat. It was wonderful. My sister Lindsay made me this sweet treat bag. What an awesome sister, thanks Linds. I really did enjoy the movie, thought it was 10 times better than Twilight. Which makes me sad because Twilight is my favorite book out of the whole series. But this one they all looked better and the acting wasn't so awkward. There is one part when it spins....i felt really dizzy and had to close my eyes. Oh and Jacob, what a hottie. Still an Edward fan though, even if Jacob is hott. What a great movie.

Cydne came home from her mission. And is now engaged due to be married on Sept 11. A week from tomorrow. You can only imagine our household is a little bit crazy.

We took some pictures, played with cars, practiced his music, got locked out of the house and had a fun piggyback ride/tickling/trying to tackle me. Love him. Saying 'Good-Bye'

Saying good-byes are a little hard for me. I hate thinking I might never see them again, they will have a life without me in it. I know these are probably not a good thing to think, but I do it. I am not going to lie, I cried over my good-byes. One friend has left to Japan. I believe he is going to teach English for a year and a half. I am a bit worried I will never see him and the fact he left my roommate who is in love with him. Just makes the story a little more tender to my heart.

I've moved home. Back to my old room, sharing with my sister for a bit. Free food, delicious. Spending time with just my mother. I've had fun just the first 2 days I've been home.

Although the good-bye saying is so hard for me, so much is coming my way. New ward, new friends, more adventures, old friends, family, sisters wedding, bridal showers for my sister, and so much more that I don't know is coming....how exciting. I can't live on the good-bye word. I got to live on the Hello word. :)

What Tuesdays Mean to Me..

Tuesdays for me are;

Working , I work for Griffin Hill. I get to work with my brother all day. Usually until 5:00

Family, I get to spend some time with my family and with my roommates. We sit and we catch up on life. How fun is that? Just get to talk with the ones I love. Lucky me.

Dinner, usually tuesdays for my roommates is eat out night. We like to eat something delicious, we know we will work it off in a few minutes. :)

ULTIMATE FRISBEE-GLOW IN THE DARK STYLE! That is right. For 2 hours we play 2 games and its fun. Glow in the dark style is the way to go. I never really enjoyed frisbee. But since I've been introduced to glow in the dark. My roommates and I love to go.

FHE Olympics

For FHE on Monday my ward decided to put the FHE groups together to do Olympics. We got in our groups and we knew our group was going to be amazing. With our pink nylon around our heads...who wouldn't think we were winners? There was a group that didn't have enough to join in the competition with their small group. They had to split. The more athletic ones in the small group saw the other team..thinking..they look like they will win. Then we got the other 2 not so athletic. We still had our thoughts of us winning!! We had some fast people in our group. Well we were off to the competition behind Provo High School. We were the last group to arrive. We needed to save our energy for the competition. We needed to win. The first race came, the race was having toothpicks in your mouth passing lifesavers to the end of the line...we lost. Our team had great team spirit. We knew that team needed to at least get 1 point. We couldn't waste them to bad. We were on the second race, sponges going through the line trying to get the most water in the buckets. We won, on the most water. Another team won on speed. Let me tell you though, slower you go the more water the sponge holds. :). Next race, throwing water balloons back at forth. Our team one with the most distance. Next race, the final race. The relay. Where the whole team participates. Started with the 3 legged race (which was my roommate Olivia and I and we were so far ahead.) next was the wheel barrow, after wheel barrow it was the balancing the egg on a spoon(thank goodness I didn't get that one..I am not a very good balanced person) after balancing was the crab walk, we had our fastest crab walker there. After Crab walk was leap frog. (good thing we put 2 boys on that, boys are just better at that) after was human bowling. and that's right we won. We were ahead the whole time. I don't think anyone thought our group would be the winners, little did they know our group had the team competitors. :) When we all worked together we did amazing. WE WON THE WHOLE THING!! YAY!!

Tandum Biking

For enrichment we got Tandum bikes. At first I didn't want to go. I didn't want to ride bikes, thought it was dumb. Well we got there (roommates and I) and we rode them...it was love at first pedal. I had so much fun. My roommate & bff Valerie and I were riding them forever. Well after enrichment we got bored. There were six of us. We figured...lets go tandum biking. I was on a bike with a guy, Olivia and a guy, then Val and Amber together. Well my partner was going fast and we hit a ditch where the bike bucked me off. Don't worry I didn't crash to my death...i lived. I actually landed on my feet running down the street. ha ha. It was hilarious. If you know me you know that I am very clumsy. You are probably really shocked that I landed on my feet. After we got a little smore cooker out and roasted some marshmellows and starburst. What a fun night!

Harry Potter Adventure...

My roommates, friends and I went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter and don't worry, we dressed up. What could be more exciting then sitting in a line for about 5 hours hoping to get good seats. We brought candy, games, homework, books, magazines and a ball. I will tell you Wynnsong Theater is not as good as the new Theater at the mall. That one they give you little samples of food in the line. This one it was just a little more crazy. The movie was great, wasn't my favorite Harry Potter movie but I did enjoy it. Part of that probably had to do with it being the midnight showing. :) I love attending midnight showings. My next one will be New Moon in November.
