DYING OF LAUGHTER~

To start the story I must start with a back story.

Micah and I signed up to do some tracking at work. You are all (or not) wondering what tracking is?

Well tracking is where we help the families who do Proctor Care, (kind of the same thing as Foster Family but they are only in the house temporary and are still in a program at Extended Family). We do 20 hours of tracking a month with one girl. We do it with this cute 12 year old. And she comes to our house twice a week sometimes less sometimes more. 

Another little side story, Micah has created a bad habit. Micah will be so embarrassed I shared this story at all. He tends to leave the bathroom door open when using the toilet.

Well me and this 12 year old were just keeping busy in one room, when all the sudden I realized I just heard the toilet flush, hand sink turned on.... yes it happened Micah totally didn't think about this one. 

When he walked out the door I gave him this weird look on my face for it to hit him....

He totally just used the toilet with the door opened.

Lets just say I had to go into my bedroom, I was laughing so hard I was crying. 

I didn't want to embarrass Micah more in front of this 12 year old. Maybe she didn't catch it, but my guess is.... she did.

Ha ha ha, I love Micah. We have some fun times.

Oh My...

Do you ever have those days? Weeks? Of you being completely ditsy?

Well I sure do, and it's only Wednesday.

Two stories to share with you.

1. Yesterday I was getting in one of the company cars to take a girl to school. (Luckily not the green one I hit a car with a few months ago) and the emergency break would not move.

Terie (my boss/mother-in-law) was close by so I went to tell her. She referred me to someone else. As I walked outside Whitney Erickson (program director @ the girls house) helped me.

She got in the car and couldn't get it to move. Then she put her hand out and pulled the release break...

wa la. I felt so stupid. The sad part is, I looked for that release break, but found the hood one instead. 

2. Today I lost my phone. I looked everywhere. People kept telling me they were trying to call me. When I got to looking for it I couldn't find it anywhere. I was all packed up my coat on and my back pack on my back to go home from work. People kept calling it for me and we'd all be really quiet to see if we could hear it. My phone was close to silent that the song played really quiet. I went to the main office and could not find it. Thought I'd be going home with no phone. Micah (my husband) and one of the Therapist that works with the girls were in office trying to find my phone. When Micah looks in my backpack and pulls it out. The whole time I was looking for it, it was in my backpack on my back.

Thank you self for entertaining me and everyone around me.

Geez.

Your Mom Taught you Better 2

Micah has done it again, which makes this even more funny!

Your Mom Taught you Better

 Micah and I were sitting on the couch watching, probably Andy Griffith Show. 

All the sudden there was a big loud "THUD".

 Micah than proceeds to tell me, "Oh, I left a soda in the freezer".

So this is what we found.

I than proceeded to say "I know your mom taught you better". 

I will admit it was funny to see all the mess. 

Luckily I didn't have to clean it up.

David Paisley?

My mother-in-law made me laugh today.

We were talking about the stadium of fire, when she brought up the singers 

quoting, "I don't know who David Paisley is"

I was trying to hold in my laughter, I just snickered and had to say,

"Brad Paisley?"

I could tell she felt a little embarrassed.

Probably because I mentioned he was a "FAMOUS" country singer.

My mother-in-law is awesome.

She always makes me laugh.

Love being around her and the Wiederhold clan.
